Mile Tracker Pro uses your phone's GPS to automatically detect when you start and stop driving. It records your route in the background — no buttons to press, no app to open. Every trip is logged with the start address, end address, distance, duration, and a map of your route.

Mile Tracker Pro is designed to be battery-efficient. We use Apple's optimized location services to minimize battery impact. Most users report minimal battery drain — typically less than 5% per day of tracking.

You have two options: (1) Manually swipe each trip to mark it as Business or Personal, or (2) Set up Business Hours in Settings to automatically categorize trips that occur during your work schedule. You can always manually re-categorize any trip.

Mile Tracker Pro uses the current IRS standard mileage rate for business use of a vehicle. The rate is updated automatically when the IRS publishes new rates (typically at the start of each year). For 2026, the standard mileage rate is $0.67 per mile for business use.

Tap the report icon in the top-right corner of the Miles screen. You can generate reports for any month or custom date range. Reports include total deductions, total miles, a trip breakdown by category, and a detailed log of every trip. Pro users can export reports as PDF or email them directly.

Absolutely. Your location data is stored primarily on your device. We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your location data for advertising. Your privacy is fundamental to our product.

Mile Tracker Pro is available as a monthly plan ($8.49/month) or an annual plan ($84.99/year — saving you 17%). Both plans include: automatic mileage tracking, unlimited report generation, business hours auto-categorization, PDF report exports, direct email reports, and priority customer support. You can cancel anytime.

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings: Open Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > Mile Tracker Pro > Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Yes. Tap the "+" button on the Miles screen to manually add a trip. You can enter the start and end locations, date, time, and category. This is useful for trips taken before you installed the app or when your phone was off.

Currently, Mile Tracker Pro is available exclusively on iOS (iPhone). We're exploring Android development based on user demand. Stay tuned for updates.
